With the current technological advancement and competitiveness of global markets especially with shift to renewable energy, oil gas companies need double their effort overcome challenges. Thus, engineers in sector should increase job performance that effect. Knowledge sharing is one major ways through which knowledge skills will be upgraded eventually performance. Therefore, this study critically reviews term factors affect sharing. It also some influence engineers’ intention towards firms. identifies enablers such as a knowledge-sharing culture an organization, human network, social relationship trust among sharers receivers. On other hand, it barriers fear not receiving enough recognition, lack proper awareness regarding its benefits, trust, differences cultural environment, communication skills, time, interest, networks motivation are concern, facilities.
